We remember the last Google page rank update. And finally yet, on June 27th 2011, Google made another update in page rank. DigitalBunch is just 5 months old blog and it has got PR2. Its quite good result for new blog. I distinctly remember the first post of DigitalBunch.

How To Remove Your Copied Content From Google Search Engine

As you know there are many auto blogs and content copiers who mostly copy the articles easily without any permission and credit. Because of these content copiers you get risk to low traffic and duplicate content which is detected by Google. Google often ignore the contents which have been posted more than 2 times in the web.

So you must remove such copied content at least from Google search engine. To do so, you’ve to use CopyScape to find your copied content or article. If you found any result then investigate that article whether it matches exactly with yours or not. If that article didn’t got any credit or link to your blog then its a time to report that site to Google.

First search if that article is indexed in Google or not. Go to Google DMCA page. Choose this options receptively: Blogger > I have found content that may violate my copyright > Yes, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. And click the link that you see as below:

Fill up the form with your contact information as below:

Now in first field of ‘Your Copyrighted Work’ copy and past the URL of your original content as below.

Then in next field paste the URL of copied content. Also fill up all the fields as below:

After few days you’ll get the email message from Google. They’ll tell you what they’ve done with the duplicate content. In most of the case, they reported URL will be removed from Google search engine. And no more pain for you. In my case I got the positive email message within 2 days from Google. You must report the duplicate content which is copied by other blogs in order to be safe and risk free. This this way you can increase traffic of your blog. The main thing is that the blog who copies your article comes in first page of Google than yours. So, copiers get more traffic than you. How hard you write an article and how easily copy cats copy your article.

Increase Google Page Rank In Next Update: Panda Friendly

Now a days Google keeps releasing the new search engines algorithms to bring more quality in search feature. Many webmasters loose their Google search engine position and Google page rank. One of our blog Hack Tutors also lost Google page rank because of Google Panda update algorithm that was officially announced by Google. Before, Hack Tutors page rank was 3 and dropped down to PR 0. We know its vast difference and quite strange as well.

By researching about Google panda algorithm we had discovered some ways to get on right position in eyes of Google search engine.

No More Low Quality Link Building

Google started to recognize backlinks as spam which are came from the pages having too many out bound links. So start getting links from the page having few external links and quality content. Make sure the page do not consists too many ads and must not have very few contents. If you’ve backlinks from those spammy pages, you’ll get negative effects in Google rankings and SEO.

Change Link The Building Strategy

You might been doing link building in unnatural way which effects Google page rank. Getting links from .EDU and .GOV blogs is no more good enough because in most of the case these types of pages already been spammed.

Now its better to get the quality links by guest posting in related blogs. So that Google can recognize your website got the good quality link from related website. Hubpages is Good example. Its PR 6 website and DoFollow. The main good this is that, you can post a content in any niche.

Easy Solution of “Your profile could not be opened correctly” Chrome Error

I was getting this annoying error each time when I open Google Chrome:

Your profile could not be opened correctly.

Some features may be unavailable. Please check that the profile exists and you have permission to read and write its contents.

If you have same problem then you might have noticed that it does not record the domain name that you visited the last time. So, I tried to solve this problem and got very easy and quick solution!

Solution

In every case this solution works! Here is what you have to do to solve this Google Chrome error:

First you need to enable the option to show the hidden folder. To do so, go to My Computer > in the top menu click Tools (for windows 7, it would be Organize) > Folder Options > click on the second tab named ‘View‘. Now, make sure to check ‘Show hidden files and folders‘. Then click Apply/OK.

Go to the Google Chrome file. Mostly the location is, C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data

Note that D:\ is the root drive where you have installed the Windows and replace <username> with your username. If you didn’t find that location, go to Desktop > right click Google Chrome shortcut > Properties > view the Target location.

Once you reached to that location, you can see the folder named Default. Now, rename that folder with Default_a. Make sure you must not open Google Chrome at that time. If your Google Chrome application is running, you’ll not able to rename ‘Default’ folder.

Now re-open Google Chrome, that error will not be visible anymore! If the problem persists then try rebooting your PC.

Restoring Favorites and Bookmarks

By applying above process, you may lose all of your Favorites and Bookmarks. But don’t worry you can still restore all of these things. Just go to the folder that you just renamed (default_a) and copy ‘bookmarks’ folder and paste it into the newly created folder by Chrome that is ‘default’.

Congratulations, now your Google Chrome is up once again!
